David Appasamy

David Appasamy is the Executive Vice President of Sify Technologies Limited, India, responsible for Marketing, Corporate Communications and Investor Relations for the company.

His business experience of about 30 years spans Sales & Marketing, Advertising, Business Strategy, Corporate Communications and Investor Relations Management. He has worked in the hotel industry, advertising industry and Internet & Network services with industry leaders ITC Sheraton, DDB Mudra and Sify Technologies Limited.

He is the Vice Chair of the Internet and Telecoms Infrastructure & Services Task Force of the EBITT Commission of the International Chamber of Commerce.

Rathish Babu is the Founder CEO of Access Atlantech Edutainment, a media and entertainment education company. He is an engineer by academics and a marketeer by profession. For over 18 years, he has been involved in marketing and operations at a national level and has been instrumental in scaling AAT which he founded in 2000. He loves networking, media, business, teaching and mentoring. He has played a critical role in advising and mentoring the formation of TEDxChennai.

Ninan Thariyan is Asst.VP, Bennett, Coleman, publishers of the World's largest selling english newspaper, The Times of India and also The Economic Times. He is currently the Response Head-in-charge of Tamilnadu, Pondicherry and Kerala.

He has over 27 years of experiences with the Times Group.

He did his MBA from Alaska Pacific University in the US and worked with Los Angeles Times for a year. He is a visiting faculty at LIBA and Symbiosis.

Lalitha Sridhar

Lalitha Sridhar presently serves as an Assistant Editor with Businessworld, India’s leading business magazine, where she edits, interviews and reviews a wide range of business-related subjects and books. Earlier, she project edited an exhaustive 1,088-page guide to Hindu pilgrimages in India under the Outlook Traveller Getaways imprint, which won the Government of India National Tourism Award for Best Travel Publication in 2008. She is one of two recipients of a travel award for coverage of water and sanitation related subjects, given by the Forum of Environmental Journalists of India (FEJI) in 2003. She is the CGK Reddy Human Rights Fellow for 2004. She is also a winner of the Developing Asia Journalism Awards 2004, and 2005, for her work on development-related issues. Lalitha received a Certificate of Commendation as one of the finalists of the International Federation of Journalists’ South Asia Journalism for Tolerance Prize, 2005. She is one of the three winners of the EU-India Essay Contest for Young Indian Journalists, organised by the Delegation of the European Commission to India in April 2005. She was commended with a ‘special mention’ by the jury of the National Media Foundation’s Chameli Devi Award for the Most Outstanding Mediaperson, 2005. She is also winner of 10 prizes in 6 different categories in three Competitions for Writers of Children’s Literature in English, organised by the Children’s Book Trust in 1999, 2001 and 2005. Lalitha is an Honorary Associate of the Centre for Communication and Development Studies, Pune. CCDS is a registered public trust set up to implement innovative tools and processes of communication in order to promote a deeper understanding of sustainable development.
